From September 25, 2012 to September 24, 2013, I blogged about one fun thing I did every day. 365 days, 365 posts. The blog became a lifeboat in a time when I felt I was drowning due to my struggles with Rheumatoid Arthritis–an autoimmune disease that effects the joints. Now, thanks in huge part to Year of Fun, I am in the best health of my life, the hubs and I bought a house in a thriving and family-friendly Chicago neighborhood that is being built as I type this, and we began our journey to grow our family through adoption.
In the menu above, you can find a link to my blog that I continue to write–just not every day, that was crazy. Now it focuses on adoption, home ownership, cool cool stuff like mid-century modern furniture, rad Chicago spots and awesome products and, of course, FUN. You can also view our adoption profile, learn about arthritis, and let me know if you like what you see.
Thanks for stopping by!

You go lady! Sounds like a challenge you can only succeed at!
Thanks Sloan! One day at a time 🙂
What an awesome way to explain this-now I know evgihtyrne!
Great blog and ‘a year of fun’ is such a great concept. Very inspiring. I am going through a rough year too having being diagnoised with RA last September at the age of 27. I will enjoy reading your blog and hearing about your progress. Will keep my fingers crossed for you 🙂
Hey SM. Thanks for your support! I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I’m sure you have a great support system but let me know if you ever want to talk/email. Sending good vibes and fun thoughts your way!
