Day 310 marked the beginning of the roadtrip! The first leg was short-Chicago to Muscatine. We got in, had a quality family chat and then ate a delicious homemade dinner of Ahi Tuna in a white sauce with pasta.
On the drive, we started an audio book, Under the Dome by Stephen King. It is 34 hours long and already very interesting. I believe there is a tv show based on the book but in case you don’t know, it is about a town that one day is inexplicably trapped under a clear, electric dome and cannot get out. I think I would enjoy reading it but I am loving hearing Broadway actor Raul Esparza reading it aloud. I glad we thought to get this for what will end up being an almost 58 hour road trip.
